This week's program presented a farewell interview with Layeka Bashir, an extraordinary 'Nazrul Geeti' singer Canberra was proud to have during the last few years. Layeka accompanied her postgraduate student husband, Abu Ahmed, to Canberra and is returning to Bangladesh this month. Bangla Radio took the opportunity to interview such a devoted 'Nazrul Geeti' singer who started her singing career at the age of four and have practised classical music more than ten years before embracing 'Nazrul Geeti'.
